Action Pal User Guide

Opening the UI

Action Pal can be viewed in two ways – as an Overlay, or a Popup.

As an always-visible Overlay:

1. Open the Overlays Menu or Overlays Toolbar
2. Enable “Action Pal”

As an on-demand Popup, at mouse position:

1. Press the “Show Action Pal Popup” shortcut
   • To set this, use the Unity Shortcut Manager via Edit > Shortcuts

UI Sections

1. Edit Mode – view and set the current Edit Mode (GameObject, Mesh Vertex, Spline, etc)
2. Search Bar – type to filter the shown actions by name
3. Favorites Tab – click to view Favorite actions
4. Context Tab – click to view actions that are linked to the current Edit Mode
5. All Tab – click to view all available actions
6. Actions List – use arrow keys and enter (or mouse click) to select an action

Favorite Actions

Any action can be made a “Favorite” by:

1. Hover on the action in the list
2. Click the star icon ( ⭐ ) next to it

To un-Favorite an action, do the same thing, toggling the star “off”.
